Requirements
| Software | Version | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Node.js | 24 or newer, with npm | Installs the dependencies, runs the dev server, the build and the tests (and the server in server mode) |
| Web server | Any static host, or Node.js | The static export (dist/tailwind) is plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript with one folder per page: Netlify, Vercel, Nginx, Apache, IIS, S3 + CloudFront, GitHub Pages... No rewrite rules needed. The server build runs with next start on Node.js 24+ (see Installation) |
| Back end | Not required | The demo data is static. Connect your own API when you build your application |
For the static export, Node.js is only needed on your development machine or in your CI: the server receives the built files.
Skills you need
Basic knowledge of React (components, props, hooks), Next.js (App Router: routes, layouts), TypeScript and CSS. Every change described in this manual is a small edit of a view, a route file, the page table, the menu file or a JSON translation file.
