Requirements
| Software | Version | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Node.js | 24 or newer, with npm | Installs the dependencies, runs the dev server, the build and the tests |
| Web server | Any static host | The production build (dist/bootstrap) is plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript: Netlify, Vercel, Nginx, Apache, IIS, S3 + CloudFront, Docker... The server must send unknown paths to index.html (see Installation) |
| Back end | Not required | The demo data is static. Connect your own API when you build your application |
Node.js is only needed on your development machine or in your CI: the server receives the built files. The
Angular CLI is installed with the project (npx ng ... or the npm scripts); a global install is not needed.
Skills you need
Basic knowledge of Angular (standalone components, templates and bindings, signal inputs, content projection, dependency injection), TypeScript and CSS. Every change described in this manual is a small edit of a component, a route table entry, the menu file or a JSON translation file.
